The all-new 2011 Dodge Charger takes everything good about the 2010 Charger and makes it even sportier and more aggressive. Available in SE, Rallye, and R/T trim levels, the 2011 Charger is powered by either a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine (SE and Rallye) or a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine with four-cylinder mode FuelSaver Technology (R/T). On the outside, the boxy style is replaced by a curvier design that improves noise, aerodynamics, and fuel efficiency. Dodge's traditional crosshair grille has been upgraded, retooled, and enlarged, with more prominent surface development making it jut out in a more forceful fashion. A newly sculpted, more chiseled hood center makes the sedan more attention-grabbing and a smoothed out greenhouse cuts down on drag. Crisp, scowling headlights feature more angular lighting elements inside them, while the reshaped front air-intakes add a touch more edginess to the overall design. New taillights that incorporate 164 illuminating LEDs and come together to create its signature ?racetrack? graphic are featured on the rear end. Additionally, the R/T trim includes 19-inch alloy wheels and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system that features a segment-exclusive active transfer case and front-axle disconnect system and can transition seamlessly between RWD and AWD with no input from the driver.
