The all-new 2011 Dodge Charger takes everything good about the 2010 Charger and makes it even sportier and more aggressive. Available in SE, Rallye, and R/T trim levels, the 2011 Charger is powered by either a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine (SE and Rallye) or a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine with four-cylinder mode FuelSaver Technology (R/T). On the outside, the boxy style is replaced by a curvier design that improves noise, aerodynamics, and fuel efficiency. Dodge's traditional crosshair grille has been upgraded, retooled, and enlarged, with more prominent surface development making it jut out in a more forceful fashion. A newly sculpted, more chiseled hood center makes the sedan more attention-grabbing and a smoothed out greenhouse cuts down on drag. Crisp, scowling headlights feature more angular lighting elements inside them, while the reshaped front air-intakes add a touch more edginess to the overall design. New taillights that incorporate 164 illuminating LEDs and come together to create its signature ?racetrack? graphic are featured on the rear end. Additionally, the R/T trim includes 19-inch alloy wheels and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system that features a segment-exclusive active transfer case and front-axle disconnect system and can transition seamlessly between RWD and AWD with no input from the driver.
Inside the 2011 Charger, the cabin has been tuned for sound quality with the addition of dual-pane acoustic windshield and front-door side glass, body-cavity silencing foam, under-flush roll-framed doors with triple seals, and acoustic wheel-well liners, giving you a quiet ride every time. Drivers will find that upgraded premium soft-touch materials throughout, four available color combinations, a new thick-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, and a state-of-the-art Uconnect Touch infotainment system up the luxury quotient significantly. Uconnect Touch gives you access to a segment-leading Garmin navigation system, dual-zone climate controls, and available SIRIUS Travel Link. Additionally, the 2011 Charger comes with more than 65 safety and security features, such as standard Keyless Enter-N-Go and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with segment-exclusive Ready-alert Braking and Rainy Day Brake Support. For the first time ever, adaptive-cruise control (ACC) with forward-collision warning (FCW), a blind-spot monitoring (BSM) with rear cross path (RCP) detection, and a ParkView rear back-up camera with grid lines are all available safety options on the Charger as well.
Tons of features, lots of power, loads of premium performance, and heaps of welcome additions and revisions combine to make the 2011 Charger a sporty vehicle that everyone can enjoy.
