A large number of Chrysler vehicles, either all-new or heavily refreshed, have recently been announced for 2011, and one of those is the redesigned 2011 Chrysler Town & Country. Slated for release around the end of 2010, production is already underway on the new Town & Country, which will feature a new powertrain as well as new exterior and interior designs.
The exterior is light on revisions, but the ones that have been made make the 2011 Town & Country mesh with the overall new look of other 2011 Chrysler models. Interior adjustments, meanwhile, are more numerous and noticeable, including upgraded materials, new instrument panel design, and a new steering wheel. As for the new powertrain, it is a new Pentastar V6 that puts out 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. It will be the only engine offered for 2011. Equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission, expect this mini-van to achieve fuel economy of 17 city/25 highway.
